Service Pack 1 BETA

Vista

The Windows Vista service pack one Beta is due out within in the next 2 weeks according to Microsoft.

The Beta will be a standalone installer and will be available for all versions of the RTM releases of Vista.

Microsoft say that to install the Beta you will need the following:

On a x86 (32bit) machine 7GB of hard drive space

On a x64 (64bit) machine 17gb of hard drive space

Don’t go worrying about these requirements as a lot of the space will be used for temporary files when installing SP1.

The downloadable version of SP1 is a 1gb file and includes support for all languages but a lighter an express version will be available with smaller file size.
