Microsoft SilverLight

Silverlight is a cross-browser and cross-platform Internet plug-in, In other words Microsoft’s new rival to Adobe Flash. It has support for up to 720p Video and surprisingly works on Apples Safari browser. The first website containing Silverlight content will be available to view April 30th and Microsoft hopes this technology will expand and become the main internet interactive plug in. Flash is world renowned for being the number one choice for displaying interactive content with big names like YouTube using Flash its going to be hard work for Silverlight to take over.
